Stupid Stuff Galore
Okay, I have been trying to get to my blog for over a week STUPID security program won't let me because STUPID web site's certificate isn't up to date. Or so I'm told. I question this because all of a sudden every web site I visit that requires a log in is supposedly having problems with their certificates. every. single. one. Coincidence? I think not.
I have been wondering when did cute freckles become STUPID age spots? They look the same, they form the same way. But for some reason after age 30 they aren't freckles any more according to "them", the little brown specs are now STUPID age spots. I think not. Especially since they are the same spots that have been on my face since I was a child. New ones, maybe... old ones, not so much. Another case of STUPID society making women over 30 feel bad about themselves.
I order quite a bit of plant material for my garden online. Normally there is no problem. STUPID company this time took my order in late June, charged my order in late June, two weeks later claimed couldn't ship from Illinois (two states over in same hardiness zone) until Fall. Uh-huh. It wasn't hot enough to cook the plants en route. It wasn't hot enough to give them trouble getting established. STUPID company still hasn't sent them. And this was a STUPID replacement order. I am now concerned that the plants will not be able to establish themselves before the cold weather hits.
Smelled gas the other night, called the gas company who sent someone out. Yup, there was a leak, a sizable one I'm told. Seems the STUPID kid who'd put the new meter on after the company replaced the main out in front of the house didn't put a new regulator on, didn't install the meter properly - it was at a STUPID angle not sitting straight - and basically cut a bunch of corners. His STUPID behavior made this poor woman have to come out and work after dark in a poorly lit part of the yard for over an hour fixing his STUPID mistakes. Gotta wonder if that error cost me money on the gas bill too.... Given the STUPID price increases this past year it is a concern. Oh there was an article in the paper this morning claiming that people were smelling gas more this week because the batch from the supplier had more than the usual odor enhancer mix in it. Uh-huh, according to the tech who was here, all the ones she'd checked that day so far had been real leaks. Well, duh, if you can smell it the stuff is escaping the piping some-flippin-how. STUPID gas company.
Supposed to be nice this weekend. Gonna work in the yard this weekend. STUPID clouds have moved in and now it is damp so my STUPID asthma is not amused.
I need to find my Bone T-Shirt that says "Stupid, stupid rat creatures"... seems to fit the situation perfectly.
